Automation Engineer – Playwright / C# / TypeScript / AWS

Job Summary:-

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in UI test automation using Playwright, C#, and/or TypeScript , along with hands-on experience working with AWS cloud platforms . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing, and improving overall test coverage and software quality across enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :-

- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright .
- Develop automated test scripts using C# and/or TypeScript .
- Create and execute end-to-end, regression, functional, and integration test automation.
- Build scalable and reusable automation components and testing utilities.
- Analyze application requirements and identify suitable scenarios for automation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, troubleshoot defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Validate applications across different environments, browsers, and platforms.
- Work with AWS cloud services and environments to support application testing and automation.
- Maintain test data, test configurations, automation documentation, and execution reports.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, framework reliability, execution speed, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts,



and other stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills :-

- Strong hands-on experience in UI Test Automation .
- Expertise in Playwright .
- Robust programming experience with C# and/or TypeScript .
- Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks .
- Strong understanding of Selenium/Playwright concepts, web technologies, locators, assertions, waits, and browser automation .
- Experience with API testing/automation is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms/services .
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools and pipelines .
- Good understanding of Git/version control .
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments .

Preferred / Good to Have :-

- Experience with API automation using REST APIs .
- Knowledge of tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar API testing frameworks .
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms .
- Experience with Docker/containerized test environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application testing and AWS services.
- Experience with performance, integration, or service-level testing.

Qualifications:-

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing/automation , with significant hands-on experience in Playwright.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
