- Product & Technical Understanding Should be comfortable researching IT products online. Must be able to understand and compare specifications of: Desktops Workstations Laptops Printers Monitors Servers Computer components Networking products Other IT equipment Should be capable of independently researching an unfamiliar product/specification using Google and OEM websites. 4.
Buyer Communication
Communicate confidently with institutional/government buyers. Handle routine buyer queries professionally. Follow up regarding quotations, purchase orders, documents, delivery and payment.
Escalate significant or sensitive matters to management. 5.
Documentation
Prepare quotations and invoices. Prepare L1/price comparison statements. Maintain purchase and sales documentation. Ensure all required documents are available before dispatch/closure. Maintain organised digital records.
- Logistics & Delivery Coordinate transportation and dispatch. Track shipments. Coordinate with buyers and logistics partners. Obtain delivery/POD documentation. Follow up on pending installation, warranty or delivery requirements. 7.
Process Improvement
Document recurring processes and create SOPs. Identify repetitive activities that can be standardised or automated. Keep Zoho updated so that the status of every requirement/order is visible.
