Position: Tendering Engineer

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience: 2–5 years of relevant tendering experience will be preferred

About the Role:

IDDC Engineers Private Limited is looking for a Tendering Engineer with experience in Government Tendering and Civil Consultancy Services. The candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable tenders, studying tender requirements, preparing technical and commercial bids, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring timely and compliant submission of tenders.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of GeM, CPPP, Central Government tenders, MES/Defence procurement, State e-Procurement portals etc., and tender documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Search and identify suitable tenders related to civil engineering and consultancy services.

· Review and analyze tender documents, NITs, RFPs, BOQs, technical specifications, GCC/SCC and eligibility criteria.

· Check technical qualification, financial criteria, similar work requirements, EMD, tender fee, experience, registrations and mandatory documents.

· Prepare tender participation checklists and ensure complete compliance with tender conditions.

· Prepare technical proposals, commercial proposals, declarations, undertakings, affidavits and other tender documents.

· Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis and commercial bid calculations.

· Coordinate with management, engineers, finance/accounts and technical teams for bid preparation.

· Coordinate with clients, buyers and Government departments for tender-related clarifications and requirements.

· Handle online tender submission and ensure timely uploading of all required documents.

· Manage GeM bidding, e-procurement submissions and Reverse Auctions (RA).

· Monitor corrigenda, amendments, pre-bid clarifications and changes in tender conditions.





· Prepare letters, clarification requests and other official tender correspondence.

· Maintain records of submitted tenders, bid results, EMDs, tender fees and supporting documents.

· Follow up on tender results, LOA/Work Orders and post-tender requirements.

· Support negotiations, post-award documentation and project handover to the execution/technical team.

· Maintain proper documentation and compliance records for all tender activities.

Positive to Have:

· Knowledge of structural inspection, NDT, structural stability certification or other civil consultancy services

· Experience in preparing tender-related letters and official correspondence

· Good communication and coordination skills

· Knowledge of eligibility and pre-qualification requirements

· Experience in vendor/contractor registration and empanelment

· Basic understanding of GST, EMD, tender fee, security deposit and performance security requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
