What is the work?

- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise software development projects from requirement gathering and planning through development, deployment, and post-production support.

- Manage multiple cross-functional development teams working on Java-based applications and enterprise software projects.

- Define project scope, milestones, timelines, resource requirements, dependencies, and delivery plans.

- Manage projects using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

- Conduct and coordinate Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Work closely with Product Owners, clients, business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth project execution.

- Track project progress, sprint performance, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall project health.

- Identify project risks and bottlenecks early and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.

- Prepare and share project status reports, dashboards, delivery updates, and management reports with internal and external stakeholders.

- Manage project resources, team capacity, allocation, priorities, and delivery schedules.

- Coordinate release planning, deployment activities, production releases, and post-production stabilization.

- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, quality standards, and client expectations.

- Use ClickUp for project planning, task management, sprint tracking, team coordination, and project reporting.

- Coordinate with technical teams on architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, cloud, CI/CD, and other technical dependencies.

- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, development processes,



team productivity, and Agile practices.

- Manage client communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct project reviews, document lessons learned, and implement process improvements.

- Mentor and guide project and development teams while maintaining a collaborative and high-performance working environment.

- Support digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives where applicable.

- Manage geographically distributed/offshore-onshore teams and coordinate work across different locations and time zones.

- Ensure appropriate project documentation, governance, quality processes, and compliance requirements are followed.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

- 812 years of overall professional experience, with strong experience in software development and technical project management.

- Strong hands-on technical background with Java-based technologies and practical understanding of software engineering processes.

- Experience managing software development projects primarily based on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, JavaScript, REST APIs, and Docker.

- Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Proven experience managing Agile projects using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

- Strong understanding of Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, Estimation,



Release Planning, and Agile delivery practices.

- Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed software development teams.

- Practical experience with ClickUp or similar project/task management platforms.

- Working knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, and DevOps practices.

- Good understanding of Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.

- Experience managing project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.

- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management experience.

- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Ability to understand technical discussions and effectively communicate between development teams, business stakeholders, and clients.

- Experience working with international clients, preferably across Europe, North America, or APAC.

- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and enterprise-scale software projects.

- Exposure to AI-powered solutions, Generative AI, or AI-enabled software projects will be an advantage.

- Understanding of cloud-native architecture, DevOps, enterprise application architecture, and up-to-date software development practices.

- Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Experience with enterprise governance, quality standards, compliance, and project documentation will be preferred.

- CSM/PSM, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or AWS certification will be an added advantage.
