Job Description

1. Responsible for the Technical Sales function. Make an analysis of enquiries, negotiate questions/issues with the customer to clarify details, increase chances to quote right products which will be technically accepted and competitive in terms of prices.

2. Make preliminary decision whether it makes sense to quote or not and discuss that with Manager of Application team/Technical head/ if need MD.

3. Make quotations including customer’s requirements clarification, process clarification and equipment selection, plant layout development, price calculations, etc.

n

4. Involve in sales, communicate technical & other appropriate issues with customers, visit customers with technical presentations and seminars, etc.,

n

5. Analyzes and understands Customer’s business, market and competition, turning information into insights about the market and opportunities for the organization.

6. Extend and update knowledge of PROMAN, solutions and services, sufficient to support and help for positive customer service.

7. Colaborate and communicate regularly with design, projects, operations and other departments to support and develop business activities.

Arrange kick off meeting with execution team (if any special projects), Release work order, define scope limit, delivery details etc.,

9. Transfer the scope and ideas of the order to execution team. Explain the scope, its limitations w.r.t delivery, profitability etc., - as agreed during the finalization.

10. To present a positive and cooperative demeanor with customers as well as internal co-workers in order to provide technical problem solving and product application support.

n

11. Knowledge of AutoCAD, 3-D Modelling (if), basic, Fabrication Practices.

n

12. Perform other miscellaneous duties as requested.

4 to 15 yrs of experience in application, costing, estimation, proposal engineering (crushing & Screening)

Qualification - BE - Mechanical
