Role Overview

n

As an Assistant Professor (Course Coordinator), you will contribute to curriculum design, academic content development, and online programme delivery within a technology-enabled, UGC-compliant Open and Distance Learning (ODL) ecosystem.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop and update curriculum, Self-Learning Materials (SLMs), e-content, and learning resources.
n
- Coordinate course delivery through the Learning Management System (LMS).
n
- Conduct and monitor assessments and examinations.
n
- Facilitate learner engagement through live sessions and discussion forums.
n
- Collaborate with faculty and Course Mentors for seamless course delivery.
n
- Ensure academic quality and compliance with UGC ODL & Online Education Regulations.
n
- Develop and review digital learning content, assessments, and video resources.
n




- Contribute to curriculum planning, academic calendars, and departmental academic processes aligned with NEP 2020.
n
- Resolve learners' academic queries and maintain course records.
n

Eligibility (As per UGC Norms)

n

Candidates should meet any one of the following:

n

n
- Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent) and a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
n

n

OR

n

n
- Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent) along with UGC NET/SLET/SET qualification.
n

n

OR

n

n
- Master's Degree at NCrF Level 7 (e.g., M.E./M.Tech.) with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent), wherever applicable.
n

n

Preferred Experience

n

n
- Experience in higher education teaching, curriculum design, or content development.
n
- Exposure to Online/ODL teaching environments.
n
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital assessment platforms.
n
- Strong academic writing, communication, and learner engagement skills.
n
