About the Role
n
We are hiring a Placement Executive / Placement Coordinator to support student placements, corporate partnerships, and job opportunity sourcing across high-demand domains.
n
This role is suitable for candidates with experience in placements, recruitment, talent acquisition, or corporate relations, particularly within EdTech, training institutes, or academic environments.
n
The selected candidate will be responsible for connecting students with employers, sourcing job opportunities, engaging recruiters, and supporting placement outcomes.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
1. Job Opportunity Sourcing & Employer Outreach
n
n
- Identify and connect with companies, including startups and enterprises, for job opportunities.
n
- Conduct outreach to HR professionals, recruiters, and hiring managers.
n
- Build a pipeline of job openings across domains such as data science, AI, cybersecurity,
digital marketing, investment banking, cloud & DevOps, and MBA roles.
n
n
2. Job Portal Research & Talent Mapping
n
n
- Track job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, company career pages)
n
- Identify relevant openings aligned with student skill sets.
n
- Share opportunities and coordinate application processes.
n
- Map job descriptions with student profiles to improve alignment.
n
n
3. Corporate Relations & Hiring Partnerships
n
n
- Build and maintain relationships with HR professionals and talent acquisition teams.
n
- Understand hiring requirements and align them with candidate profiles.
n
- Support development of repeat hiring partnerships
n
n
4. Fresher Talent Pipeline Development
n
n
- Connect with colleges, universities, and talent pools.
n
- Support development of entry-level hiring opportunities
n
- Track demand trends for freshers across relevant domains.
n
n
5. Placement Strategy & Execution
n
n
- Support execution of placement strategies across multiple domains.
n
- Manage the placement lifecycle, including sourcing, coordination, and follow-ups.
n
- Ensure continuity in job opportunities and interview processes.
n
n
6. Student Career Support & Readiness
n
n
- Guide students on:
n
- Resume building
n
- Interview preparation
n
- Job application strategies
n
- Support initiatives to improve employability and job readiness.
n
n
7. Communication & Coordination
n
n
- Share updates on job opportunities and hiring processes.
n
- Coordinate between students, recruiters, and internal stakeholders.
n
- Support interview scheduling and follow-ups
n
n
8. Data Tracking & Reporting
n
n
- Maintain placement data through CRM or internal dashboards.
n
- Track metrics such as the following:
n
- Number of opportunities
n
- Interviews scheduled
n
- Conversion rates
n
- Generate reports for internal review.
n
n
Key Skills Required
n
n
- Experience in recruitment, placements, or corporate outreach
n
- Familiarity with job portal sourcing and talent mapping
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships

- Good research and networking abilities

- Organized approach with data tracking and reporting skills

Qualifications
n
n
- Bachelor's degree (HR, Business, or related field preferred)
n
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in placements
n
- Recruitment / Talent Acquisition

- Corporate Relations
n
- Experience in EdTech, training institutes, or academic placements is preferred.
