Role Description This is a full-time, in office System Engineer role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The System

Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable system architectures that support Pravixa AI’s software and AI solutions. Daily tasks include managing servers and cloud infrastructure, performing system administration, monitoring performance, and ensuring system reliability and security. The role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, providing technical support to project teams, and collaborating with software engineers and product teams to optimize systems for new and existing applications.





The System

Engineer will also contribute to systems design documentation, automation of routine processes, and continuous improvement of infrastructure and operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to architect, implement, and optimize complex technical infrastructures.
- Candidates should possess robust System Administration skills, including server management, user and permission management, and routine maintenance of on-premise and cloud environments.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist internal teams with system-related problems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and monitoring tools relevant to modern distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization or containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting or automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment are important.
- Experience working with AI, SaaS platforms, or large-scale digital systems is an advantage.
