Designation: Store Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Upkeep

- Ensure overall upkeep of the store and implementation/adherence to the company’s statement of purpose.
- Oversee and monitor day-to-day store operations to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Manage billing, stock inwarding, stock placement on racks, picking, packing, and order readiness for delivery executives.
- Ensure proper wastage and dumping management.

1. Stock, Safety & Security

- Ensure the safety and security of stock, infrastructure, property, and store premises.
- Prevent and monitor any theft, fraud, or discrepancies related to orders, stock, and store operations.

1. Team Management

- Manage a team of approximately 8–12 store employees, along with housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff.
- Manage staff rosters and shifts effectively.
- Ensure employee retention, training, discipline, and hygiene standards.

1. Store Performance Management

- Take ownership of the overall performance metrics of the store.
- Monitor key operational metrics such as:

- Number of orders delivered
- Arrival-to-pickup time

- Stock availability
- Picking-to-packing time





- Billing time
- Order-to-billing time
- Ensure adherence to the prescribed service matrix on a daily basis.

1. Retail Store Operations

- Ensure smooth and efficient retail store operations.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure timely availability of stock.
- Implement effective wastage control and inventory management practices.

1. Technology & Reporting

- Use necessary software and systems for stock inwarding, billing, report generation, and other store operations.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of retail store operations and management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage large workloads efficiently.
- Strong team-handling and people-management skills.
- Good understanding of inventory and wastage management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational setting.
