Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: GOP – Perungalathur Office, Chennai

Work Mode: Work from Office (5 days a week)

Role Summary

n

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of web and mobile application development,

n

enhancements, and maintenance/support projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding, experience managing

n

cross-functional teams (Applications+Infra+Network), and proven capability in handling both project delivery and support operations.

n

This role requires robust stakeholder management, planning, and documentation skills, along with the ability to work effectively with

n

onsite/offshore teams.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Project Delivery & Execution

n

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

n

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, sprint plans, and release schedules.

n

• Plan, allocate, and manage resources across development and support teams.

n

• Manage end-to-end delivery of development, enhancements, and support services.

n

• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies with mitigation strategies.

n

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, secure coding practices, and compliance guidelines.

n

• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

n

Technical & Functional Leadership

n

• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams.

n

• Review technical solutions,



user stories, design approaches, and estimations.

n

• Support integrations with APIs, cloud platforms, backend systems, and mobile frameworks.

n

• Ensure smooth deployment and release management across environments.

n

• Track team performance, utilization, and productivity.

n

• Mentor team members and promote continuous process improvements.

n

Support Management

n

• Oversee L2/L3 application support, incident management, and service request handling.

n

• Track and ensure compliance with SLAs, uptime, and performance metrics.

n

• Facilitate RCA, corrective actions, and preventive measures for recurring issues.

n

• Coordinate production deployments, hotfixes, and stabilization activities.

n

Business & Customer Engagement

n

• Act as the primary contact for customers, business owners, and vendor partners.

n

• Provide timely communication on project status, risks, and milestones.

n

• Manage escalations effectively and ensure customer satisfaction.

n

• Participate in customer walkthroughs, solution discussions, and governance meetings.

n

RFP & Documentation Expertise

n

• Collaborate with solution architects,



technical leads, and presales teams to prepare RFP/RFI responses, including solution

n

approach, delivery model, and effort estimations.

n

• Apply proven effort estimation techniques (WBS, function points, story points, analogy-based, etc.).

n

• Draft, review, and manage project-related documents including Statements of Work (SOW), project charters, resource plans,

n

RAID logs, and status reports.

n

Team & Resource Management

n

Required Skills & Experience

n

• 15+ years of experience in IT with at least 3–5 years in project management or technical leadership.

n

• Strong technical understanding of web (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular, Drupal) and mobile (iOS/Android) applications.

n

• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Network Operations and CI/CD pipelines.

n

• Experience handling development and maintenance/support projects.

n

• Hands-on experience with RFP responses, SOW drafting, effort estimation, and resource planning.

n

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or similar.

n

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

n

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

n

Nice to Have

n

• Experience in Healthcare, Health Insurance, or other regulated domains.

n

• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, ITIL, SAFe, Prince2.

n

• Exposure to DevOps, application monitoring tools, and cloud-native solutions.
