About this role

n

As Posha scales across functions and geographies, we're looking for a Finance Associate to help build and strengthen the financial foundation that powers our growth.

n

This role offers the opportunity to work across financial operations, compliance, reporting, and business processes while collaborating closely with teams across operations, people, supply chain, and leadership. You'll play a key role in ensuring that our financial systems and processes scale efficiently alongside the business.

What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha?

n

Financial Operations:

n

n
- Own day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivables, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
n
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial transactions.
n
- Maintain accurate financial records and support cash flow tracking activities.
n

Budgeting and Forecasting:

n

n
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning exercises.
n
- Track actuals against budgets and help identify key variances and trends.
n
- Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business decision-making.
n

n

Compliance and Taxation:

n

n
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other applicable filings.
n
- Support tax filings, audits,



and interactions with external consultants and auditors.
n
- Maintain documentation and records required for financial and statutory compliance.
n

n

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

n

n
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian accounting standards.
n
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
n
- Generate reports and insights to help improve operational and financial efficiency.
n

Collaboration and Process Improvement:

n

n
- Partner with teams across operations, supply chain, people, and business functions to streamline financial workflows.
n
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial processes.
n
- Help build scalable financial systems and controls as the company grows.
n

What makes you a match for us?

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
n
- CA Inter or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
n
- 2-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business finance roles, preferably in high-growth startups, consumer businesses, manufacturing, hardware, or operations-driven environments.
n
- Robust understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
n
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
n
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
n
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
