Role Description The Store Manager role at Kaluwala Construction Pvt Ltd is a full time, on-site position based in Assam, India.

The Store

Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and equipment for construction projects. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with project teams and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.

Manager will implement and follow policies for loss prevention, safety, and compliance, while maintaining organized storage areas and proper documentation. This position also includes supervising store staff as applicable, resolving operational issues, and supporting management with periodic reports and audits.

Qualifications

- Strong store management and inventory control skills, including experience in Store Management and Retail Loss Prevention.
- Customer-focused approach, with proven abilities in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of basic construction materials, tools, and equipment handling is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Assam, India, in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficiency in record-keeping, basic computer applications, and use of inventory management systems.
- Previous experience in a store, warehouse, or logistics role, ideally within construction or related industries.
- Relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field is an advantage.
