About the Role

n

The Associate Technical Architect is responsible for the end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale AWS data platforms and Lakehouse solutions. The role involves providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial architecture and technology selection to deployment and production support.

Key Requirements (Must-Have Skills)

n

n
- Experience: 8+ years designing and delivering enterprise-scale Data Lake, Lakehouse, or Data Warehouse solutions on AWS.
n
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark, and Apache Iceberg.
n
- AWS Expertise: Deep knowledge of services including EMR, S3, Athena, Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, Lambda, and various architectural principles (e.g., security, scalability, cost optimization).
n
- Pipeline Development:



Experience designing scalable batch and streaming pipelines, along with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
n
- Leadership: Ability to lead globally distributed teams, conduct code/architecture reviews, and mentor developers.
n
- Certifications: AWS Solution Architect (Associate/Skilled) or AWS Data Engineer Associate certifications are preferred.

Additional Qualifications (Good to Have)

- Infrastructure & CI/CD: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with ClickHouse, Kafka, Hive, HDFS, and data governance tools like Collibra.
n
- AI Integration: Experience using GenAI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance productivity.
n
- Domain Knowledge: Telecom or Mobile Network industry experience is beneficial
