Job Summary

We are looking for a well-groomed, energetic, and guest-focused Steward to join the Tea Experiences Room Café. The Steward will be responsible for providing warm and efficient table service, assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth and memorable tea experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist guests with a polite, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Set up tables before service and ensure proper placement of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and napkins.
- Take and serve food, beverages, and tea orders accurately and efficiently.
- Present and serve tea and other beverages according to the café's service standards.
- Maintain good knowledge of the menu, tea varieties, and signature tea experiences.
- Explain basic menu and tea details to guests when required.
- Assist guests in selecting suitable teas and beverages based on their preferences.
- Ensure timely service and regularly check on guest requirements.
- Transparent and reset tables promptly while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, tables, chairs, and guest areas.
- Coordinate with the Captain, kitchen, bar, and other team members for smooth service.
- Handle crockery, cutlery, glassware,



and service equipment carefully.
- Respond to guest requests professionally and escalate complaints or concerns to the Captain.
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the café.
- Follow all hygiene, grooming, uniform, and safety standards.
- Support the team during busy hours, special events, and tea experience sessions.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 0–2 years in a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Freshers with the right attitude and personality are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant, outgoing, and confident personality.
- Passion for guest service and hospitality.
- Well-groomed and professionally presented.
- Good listening and basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Interest in tea and learning about different tea experiences will be an advantage.
