We are looking for a Chartered Accountant who combines strong accounting and audit fundamentals with a genuine interest in technology, automation and AI.

n

Role Overview

n

The candidate will work across audit, consulting and advisory assignments, helping clients improve their financial reporting, controls, processes, MIS and overall business performance.

n

The role is particularly suited to a CA who does not want to remain limited to traditional accounting or audit and wants to develop into a business consultant with strong technology and AI capabilities.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

1. Audit & Assurance

n

n
- Plan and execute statutory, internal and management audits.
n
- Review financial statements, accounting processes and internal controls.
n
- Identify financial, operational and process-level risks.
n
- Analyse audit observations and develop practical recommendations.
n
- Prepare audit working papers, reports and management presentations.
n
- Interact with client finance teams, promoters and senior management.
n
- Support implementation and follow-up of audit recommendations.
n

2. Management Consulting

n

n
- Work with SME and startup promoters on business and financial problems.
n
- Analyse financial statements, profitability, working capital and cash flows.
n
- Develop MIS and management reporting systems.
n
- Identify cost optimisation and process improvement opportunities.
n
- Assist clients in developing budgets, forecasts and financial models.
n




- Support CFO advisory and finance transformation assignments.
n
- Prepare management presentations and business analysis.
n

n

3. AI & Automation

n

The candidate will be expected to develop a strong understanding of AI and automation applications in finance, accounting and audit.

n

Responsibilities may include:

n

n
- Identify repetitive finance and accounting processes that can be automated.
n
- Explore AI tools for accounting, audit, MIS, reporting and data analysis.
n
- Develop automated dashboards and management reporting systems.
n
- Use Excel, Power Query, Power BI and other tools to improve financial analysis.
n
- Evaluate AI-based tools for document processing, reconciliations and audit testing.
n
- Assist in implementing automated workflows for clients.
n
- Work with technology partners/developers to convert business requirements into practical solutions.
n
- Help Devmantra develop AI-enabled consulting and audit solutions.
n

n

Programming knowledge is not mandatory, but an ability and willingness to learn technology, AI tools, automation platforms and data analytics is highly desirable.

n

Ideal Candidate

n

We are looking for someone who is:

n

- A qualified Chartered Accountant with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience.
n
- Strong in accounting, audit and financial analysis.
n
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients and senior management.
n
- Interested in solving business problems rather than only performing compliance work.
n
- Curious about AI, automation, data analytics and digital transformation.
n
- Comfortable working with Excel and large datasets.
n
- Willing to learn tools such as Power BI, Power Query,



automation platforms and AI applications.
n
- Able to convert financial/operational problems into practical solutions.
n
- Strong in communication, presentation and report writing.
n
- Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable working in a consulting setting.
