Responsibilities

- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

- Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and inspection test plans (ITPs) submitted by contractors.

- Participate in quality review meetings and resolve technical issues.

- Provide guidance for concrete quality issues, material substitutions and construction methodology improvements at the site.

- Review and provide recommendations for the

- Concrete mix designs (RMC / site mix)

- Construction materials and sources

- Bituminous concrete mix

- Ensure Contractor s adherence to QA/QC procedures for critical activities, viz.

- Concrete pouring cube testing

- Earthwork compaction field density tests

- Structural and finishing works

- Laying and compacting the bituminous layers to ensure correct procedures

- Manage the Contractor s NCR and CAPA through

- Identification and raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations.

- Ensure implementation and closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

- Track recurring issues and escalate critical concerns to management.

- Maintain and review QA/QC registers, Test reports and inspection records

- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for PMC and client review

Requirements

Qualification Skills Requirement

- E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

- Certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

- Solid knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, BS, IS codes).

- Good report writing skills.

- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

Experience Requirement

- Minimum 15 years of professional experience with a minimum of 8 years in QA/QC for Civil Construction Work.

- Hands-on experience in supervising and verifying contractor adherence to QA/QC procedures for critical activities such as concrete pouring cube testing, earthwork compaction field density tests, and structural/finishing works.

- Exposure to ISO 9001 quality management systems and auditing practices.

- Experience in coordinating with contractors and consultants to ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to project quality plans.
