VP – Technology Operations (Software Development)

Location: Remote | Experience: 10–15+ years | Reports to: COO

About the Role
We're looking for a senior software engineering leader to own our Software Development vertical's interview and technical evaluation operations — overseeing Interview Team Leads, Cluster/Pod Leads, and a large team of technical interviewers assessing developer candidates at scale.

What you'll own
Full ownership of interview quality, technical assessment frameworks, and scorecard consistency for the Software Development vertical
Managing the Vertical Interview Team Lead,



Cluster/Pod Leads, and the broader interviewer team under this vertical
Designing and continuously refining technical assessment rubrics across relevant stacks (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python, full-stack, system design, data structures/algorithms)
Ensuring interview throughput targets are met without compromising assessment quality
Reporting technical operations health and interview metrics to the COO

What we're looking for
10–15+ years of hands-on software development experience, ideally with prior engineering leadership (Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, or VP Engineering)
Proven experience managing large technical teams (100+), including hiring, training, and performance management of technical interviewers/engineers
Deep, current knowledge across multiple development stacks and the ability to evaluate technical depth across diverse specializations
Strong track record designing structured, defensible technical assessment processes
Comfortable operating independently of sales/revenue functions, with accountability tied purely to technical operations quality
