Job Description: Senior Technical Project Manager – Live Platforms

Job Summary

n

We are seeking a highly experienced, delivery-focused Senior Technical Project Manager to own the end-to-end development and release cycle for our live production platforms. In this role, you will champion Scrum methodologies, optimize our CI/CD release trains, and ensure high-quality software deployments. You will manage platform stability, track deployment SLAs, and eliminate delivery bottlenecks across front-end and data infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

Sprint Governance & Scrum Leadership

n

n
- Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
n
- Enforce Agile and Scrum best practices to maximize team velocity, predictability, and sprint commitment completion.
n
- Act as a buffer and coach for the engineering team, clearing blockers and preventing scope creep during active sprints.
n
- Manage and optimize Jira boards, workflows, filters, dashboards, and velocity tracking metrics.
n

Release Cycle Management & Orchestration

n

n
- Own the deployment and release lifecycle for live platform updates across AWS and React front-ends.
n
- Establish and enforce strict release gates, regression testing windows, and rollback procedures.
n
- Coordinate cross-functional release trains involving front-end, backend API, and Snowflake data pipeline teams.
n
- Minimize live platform downtime by scheduling, communicating, and managing off-hours deployment windows.

SLA Compliance & RCA Follow-through

- Track production release metrics including deployment success rate, mean time to detect (MTTD), and mean time to resolve (MTTR).
n
- Manage post-release incident triage in Jira to address regressions swiftly within customer SLAs.
n
- Convert RCA action items into prioritized Jira stories for upcoming development sprints to prevent recurrence.
n
- Ensure all technical runbooks and release notes are fully documented in Confluence prior to production deployment.
n

Stakeholder Communication & Alignment

n

n
- Serve as the primary point of contact for release readiness, deployment status, and post-launch stability.
n
- Translate complex technical deployment dependencies into transparent project timelines for business stakeholders.
n
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, ranked, and estimated product backlog.
n

Required Qualifications

n

n
- Experience: 9+ years of technical project management experience specifically focused on software development and release lifecycles.
n
- Scrum & Jira Expertise: Expert-level mastery of Scrum frameworks and advanced Jira project administration (workflows, automation, components) is mandatory.
n
- Tech Stack Familiarity: Deep understanding of software delivery pipelines involving AWS cloud infrastructure, Snowflake data warehouses, REST/GraphQL APIs, and React apps.
n
- Certifications: Certified Scrum Master / PMP Preferred
n
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related technical field
