Key Responsibilities
n

- Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
n
- Teach topics in Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry with conceptual clarity.
n
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching aids.
n
- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations while ensuring safety procedures.
n
- Evaluate students through tests, assignments, projects, and practical assessments.
n
- Maintain attendance records, marks, and student progress reports.
n
- Provide remedial coaching and doubt-clearing sessions for weaker students.
n
- Encourage scientific thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning.
n
- Use digital teaching tools such as smart boards and educational software.
n
- Participate in examinations, parent-teacher meetings (PTMs), workshops,
and school activities.
n
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
n
n
Required Qualifications
n
n
- Bachelor's or master's Degree (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or a related Science subject.
n
- Minimum 3+ yrs of experience in teaching grades 8 to 10
n
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution.
n
- CTET/TET qualification may be required for government schools.
n
- Teaching experience is preferred but not always mandatory.
