Role & responsibilities :
1. ASPICE Process Audits & Assessments
- Lead and perform ASPICE assessments (MAN, SYS, SWE, SUP) across multiple automotive projects.
- Evaluate end-to-end development processesrequirements, architecture, design, implementation, verification/validation, release, and maintenance.
- Identify compliance gaps, classify findings, and provide explicit, actionable process improvement recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive audit reports with non-conformities, risks, and improvement roadmaps.
- Mentor teams to improve ASPICE maturity levels (up to Level 3/Level 4 readiness).
2. Process Definition, Improvement & Deployment
- Define, refine, and standardize software development processes aligned with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, testing, configuration management, and project management.
- Support creation/update of QMS documents, process assets, templates, and checklists.
- Promote a culture of process discipline and quality-oriented engineering practices.
3. Collaboration, Coaching & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and architects to ensure process adherence throughout the lifecycle.
- Conduct internal training sessions/workshops on ASPICE, software quality, functional safety, and cybersecurity process expectations.
- Provide regular feedback to leadership, highlighting risks, quality issues, and project readiness for customer audits.
4. Functional Safety (ISO 26262) & Cybersecurity (ISO 21434) Nice to Have
- Support teams in aligning with ISO 26262 Part 6 (software) and relevant safety work products.
- Provide guidance on safety analyses, traceability, and compliance documentation.
- Assist cybersecurity teams in implementing ISO 21434 processes where applicable.
5. External Audit & Customer Interface
- Prepare teams and documentation for customer audits, and external ASPICE/FS/CS evaluations.
- Act as a key representative for ASPICE and software quality topics during customer interactions.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
- 5–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Process Engineering within the automotive domain.
- Strong, hands-on experience with ASPICE assessments (mandatory).
- Understanding of SDLC models including V-Model, Agile, CI/CD environments.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Polarion, DOORS, ALM, configuration management tools, and QMS platforms.
- Strong analytical, auditing, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in non-conformance management, risk assessment, corrective action tracking, and root-cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Provisional or Competent ASPICE Assessor certification.
- Experience with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) processes or work products.
- Experience contributing to safety audits, cybersecurity reviews, or supporting ASPICE Level 3/4 improvements.
- Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to coach and guide engineering teams on process adherence and industry best practices.
