Role Overview As the Sponsorships Manager within the Strategy & Operations department, you will lead commercial and institutional alliances for the All India Football Federation (AIFF). This dual-focused role requires you to serve as the main commercial point of contact for brand sponsorships, while simultaneously acting as the primary liaison with key global and local football governing bodies and stakeholders.
The role will report directly to the Chief of Strategy and Operations and would work closely on ecosystem development.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Sponsorships: Act as the direct point of contact for brand sponsors across all properties under the AIFF umbrella.
- Revenue Generation: Drive commercial sales, execute brand outreach campaigns, and meet target revenue metrics.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison for international governing bodies (FIFA, AFC) and regional State Member Associations (MAs), Oversee FASP programmes & State Development.
- Governance & Compliance: Align local initiatives with FIFA and AFC frameworks, ensuring seamless policy coordination.
- Strategic Coordination:
Work closely with the Strategy & Operations team to harmonize commercial goals with structural football development.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate positive, long-term partnerships with internal and external institutional stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years in sports diplomacy, commercial partnerships, international relations, or sports governance.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of FIFA and AFC structures, licensing rules, and governance guidelines.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in B2B corporate sales, sponsor management, and revenue growth.
- Communication : Masterful communication, diplomacy, and executive presentation skills.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage commercial brand targets alongside bureaucratic institutional workflows.
