Role Description The Speech Language Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves assessing children’s speech, language, and communication needs, conducting detailed evaluations, and creating individualized therapy plans. The specialist will provide direct speech therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust intervention strategies as needed.

Daily responsibilities include documenting clinical findings, maintaining accurate records, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (such as occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators), and engaging families through counseling and education.



The role also includes participating in case discussions, contributing to program development, and supporting community or school-based initiatives aligned with FyndHealth’s mission.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in Speech Therapy and Speech disorders, with the ability to design and deliver individualized intervention plans.
- Knowledge and experience in managing Dysphagia and related swallowing difficulties in pediatric populations.
- Advanced Communication skills, including the ability to support expressive, receptive, and social communication development in children.
- Experience in Rehabilitation settings, working collaboratively with other healthcare and developmental professionals.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from a recognized institution; valid professional licensure/registration as required by local regulations.
- Experience working with children and families in clinical, school, or community environments; pediatric experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to maintain clear documentation, use digital tools for record-keeping, and follow evidence-based clinical protocols.
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
