The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Business Head to take end-to-end ownership of business performance and lead the next phase of growth for iCaltech's medical device business.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role with responsibility for P&L;, sales, business development, operations, market expansion, profitability, and organisational growth .
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO/MD and functional leadership team to build a scalable, commercially strong and operationally efficient organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Own the overall P&L; , revenue, profitability, cash flow and business growth targets.
Develop and execute annual business plans, budgets, go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives.
Lead sales and business development across hospitals, institutions, distributors, government and other relevant channels.
Drive market expansion across geographies, customer segments and new business opportunities.
Build and strengthen distributor/channel networks and strategic customer relationships.
Lead and develop a high-performance sales and business development organisation.
Oversee business operations including supply chain, procurement, production/contract manufacturing, logistics and customer service.
Establish systems, processes,



KPIs and MIS mechanisms to improve productivity, profitability and scalability.
Work closely with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with applicable medical-device regulations and standards.
Identify opportunities for partnerships, alliances, new products and strategic expansion.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and R&D; leadership.
Build organisational capability and develop a strong performance-oriented culture.
Ideal Candidate
Engineering graduate with an MBA, preferably in Marketing , from a reputed institution.
20+ years of overall professional experience , with significant leadership experience in medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare, or allied industries.
Proven experience in P&L; ownership and business leadership .
Strong track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion and profitability.
Experience leading multi-functional teams across Sales, Business Development, Operations and other business functions.
Solid understanding of the Indian medical-device market, including institutional sales, distribution/channel management and government business.
Experience managing business growth in a scaling or entrepreneurial environment will be highly valued.
Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, execution orientation, and stakeholder-management skills.
