Job Description We're Hiring: Senior Claims Executive (Marine Insurance Claims) n n Location : Andheri, Mumbai n Company: Emarat Maritime LLC n Employment Type: Full-Time n n Are you an experienced Marine Insurance Claims skilled with a strong understanding of P&I; Club claims, cargo losses, hull damages, and maritime risks? n n We are looking for a Senior Claims Executive to join our team and play a critical role in managing marine insurance claims from notification to settlement while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards. n n Key Responsibilities n n ✅ Manage and resolve marine insurance claims from FNOL (First Notice of Loss) through final settlement. n ✅ Promptly acknowledge, assess, and report marine-related incidents. n ✅ Provide technical guidance on: n n Marine insurance policies n Claims recoveries n Incident reporting procedures n n ✅ Liaise with: n n P&I; Clubs n Loss Adjusters n Surveyors n Legal Counsel n n ✅ Maintain accurate claim files, logs, reconciliations, and cost documentation. n ✅ Monitor aging claims and proactively drive resolutions. n ✅ Support cargo claims handling, club guarantees, loss ratio tracking, and claims reconciliation.
n ✅ Prepare monthly MIS reports and claims trend analysis to support risk mitigation and business strategy. n ✅ Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams to identify voyage and Charter Party (C/P) claim risks. n ✅ Assist in audits, compliance reviews, legal coordination, and loss prevention initiatives. n ✅ Support team operations during peak workloads and staff absences. n n Qualifications & Experience n n Education n Bachelor's Degree in: n n Marine Insurance n Maritime Studies n Law n Shipping n Or a related discipline n n n Experience n ✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine Insurance Claims Handling n ✔Strong knowledge of: n n P&I; Club Claims n Cargo Losses n Hull & Machinery Claims n Maritime Legal Processes n Marine Risk Management n n n Skills & Expertise n Thorough understanding of marine insurance claims handling n Ability to interpret marine insurance policies and contractual obligations n Strong documentation, reconciliation, and record management skills n Claims recovery and settlement expertise n Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities n n Suitable candidates can share resume on
