Role Description The Solar Engineer role at Skkytop Solar is a full time, on-site position based in Gujarat, India.

The Solar

Engineer will design and optimize photovoltaic (PV) and related electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing site assessments, preparing technical drawings and simulations, selecting system components, and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with project managers, EPC teams, and vendors to support project execution,



troubleshoot technical issues, and improve system performance.

The Solar

Engineer will also contribute to documentation, technical reports, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Skkytop Solar’s sustainability and quality goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the Solar Industry and Solar Power applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Solar Systems design, configuration, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess proven experience in PV Design, including layout planning and system modeling.
- Candidates should possess competencies in Electrical Design for solar installations and grid integration.
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Renewable Energy, Mechanical) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Familiarity with PV design software and CAD tools, as well as applicable standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to safety and quality.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience in on-site project work, commissioning, or field testing of solar systems is an advantage.
