About The Role The Actimize Subject Matter Expert (SME) at TCS will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the company's financial crime compliance and fraud detection capabilities. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Actimize applications, specifically within Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Detection, and Compliance domains. The SME will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and design effective solutions leveraging Actimize modules.

The role demands a deep understanding of transaction monitoring workflows, alert management, and case handling, ensuring the delivery of robust, compliant, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge to optimize Actimize platforms, drive process improvements, and support testing initiatives to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.




- 5 to 10 years of experience working with Actimize applications within AML, Fraud Detection, or Compliance domains.
- Proven expertise in modules such as Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM), Risk Case Manager (RCM), Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Watch List Filtering (WLF), and Integrated Fraud Management (IFM).
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including BSA, AML, OFAC, and Sanctions screening.
- Familiarity with Actimize Visual Modeler, Risk-Case Manager Designer (RCM), and AIS (Actimize Intelligence Server).
- Excellent communication skills with experience in customer engagement, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management.
- Certification such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

- Engage with clients to understand their business needs, gather detailed requirements, and translate them into technical solutions within the Actimize platform.
- Provide expert guidance on the end-to-end flow of Actimize applications related to AML, Fraud Detection, and Compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Deep dive into modules such as SAM, RCM, SAR, CDD/KYC, WLF, and IFM, providing functional and technical support for implementation and optimization.
- Design, develop, and review rules, workflows,



and configurations within Actimize to enhance detection and monitoring capabilities.
- Develop and execute regression test suites to validate end-to-end data flow across upstream and downstream systems, ensuring system integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and implement enhancements to existing solutions.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to client teams and internal staff to foster understanding and effective utilization of Actimize modules.
- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations, compliance standards, and Actimize platform features to recommend improvements and innovations.
