Role Description As a full-time remote Software Quality Assurance Intern at Ideactra, you will support the quality assurance team in evaluating and improving software products. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist in designing and executing test cases, documenting test results, and reporting defects in a transparent and structured manner.
You will help verify that software features meet defined requirements and quality standards, perform basic functional and regression testing, and collaborate with developers to understand product behavior.
The role also involves learning and applying QA methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes, and maintaining detailed records of test activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in software quality concepts, including Software Quality and Software Quality Assurance.
- Ability to apply Quality Assurance principles, with experience or coursework related to structured testing processes.
- Proficient Analytical Skills to identify issues, interpret test results, and suggest improvements.
- Capability to design, review, and execute Test Cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle and QA methodologies.
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to communicate findings clearly in written and verbal form.
- Comfortable working remotely, managing time effectively, and collaborating using online tools.
