Job Description Role Objective
n n Managing all complex underwriting quotes and/or proposals of that specific cargo segment
n Handling reinsurance aspects of that segment
n Create underwriting guidelines and information sheets for various cargos forms part of that segment
n Innovation in underwriting approach to structure policy designing to suit the exact requirement of insured's and/or intermediaries.
n Identifying niche pockets within the segment for potential and sustainable business growth
n Monitoring claims and loss reserves of the segment and working in synergy with claims team for optimize loss reserves of that segment
n Seamless working with marine risk management team for controlling and managing of losses for further improvement of bottom line
n To lead interactions with internal stakeholders and partners for speedy resolutions of identified issues
n Any projects, at product level or function level or at organizational level.
n Create working cohesiveness with regional team for growth of the allocated segment.
n Create risk register of various cargo forming part of that segment.
n Good understanding of large risks underwriting

n n Candidate must be having expertise for Marine line business in Indian Market
n Excellent understanding and Leadership management of Marine insurance underwriting and portfolio management.
