Job Title: Senior Student Advisor (UK)

We are looking for an experienced and student-focused Senior Student Advisor to join our team and provide high-quality guidance and support to students throughout their educational journey.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide one-to-one advice and guidance to prospective and current students regarding courses, admissions, progression and career pathways.
n
- Support students in identifying suitable UK universities, courses and study options based on their academic background and career goals.
n
- Guide students through the UK university application and admissions process.
n
- Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, universities and other stakeholders.
n
- Monitor student progress and provide timely support to address academic or personal challenges.
n
- Conduct student counselling sessions, consultations and information sessions.
n
- Deliver presentations, webinars and workshops on UK higher education opportunities and employability.
n
- Stay updated on UK university admissions requirements, course offerings, application processes and higher education trends.
n
- Support junior advisors by providing mentoring, training and guidance.
n
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure all advice and documentation meet organisational standards.
n




- Handle complex student cases and escalate issues appropriately when required.
n
- Contribute to student recruitment, engagement and service improvement initiatives.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Proven experience in student advising, counselling, university admissions, education consultancy or a related field.
n
- Strong knowledge of the UK higher education system and university admissions process .
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and counselling skills.
n
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple student cases and deadlines.
n
- Ability to build trust and professional relationships with students and stakeholders.
n
- Strong attention to detail and a student-first approach.
n
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior advisors is desirable.
n
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and student management/CRM systems.
n
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in education, counselling, student services or a related discipline is desirable.
n
