Job Summary:

n

The Civil & Structural Engineering Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and construction documents including BOQ for civil and structural projects.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Prepare detailed civil and structural engineering drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, details, reinforcement drawings, Structural GAD and fabrication drawings.
n
- Develop construction drawings based on engineering calculations, sketches, and design inputs.
n
- Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings, foundation layouts, steel structure drawings, and concrete detailing.
n
- Produce reinforcement detailing and bar bending schedules (BBS), where required.
n
- Revise and update drawings according to engineer comments, client feedback, and project changes.
n
- Coordinate with structural engineers, civil engineers, and other project stakeholders.
n
- Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and document control records.
n




- Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation from engineering drawings when required.
n
- Support site teams by providing drawing clarifications and preparing as-built drawings.
n
- Perform quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and consistency before issue.
n
- Maintain project documentation and electronic drawing files in accordance with company procedures.
n

Required Qualifications:

n

n
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related technical discipline.
n
- Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla or other drafting software is an advantage.
n

n

Experience :

n

n
- 7–10 years of experience in civil and structural drafting.
n
- Experience with industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred. Technical Skills
n
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
n
- Working knowledge of Revit Structure, Tekla Structures, or similar BIM software is preferred.
n
- Knowledge of structural detailing standards and construction methodologies.
n
- Familiarity with reinforced concrete (RC) and structural steel detailing.
n
- Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable design codes.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
n
