As a member of the Automation Quality Engineering team, you will work closely with members of the QE, and Development teams to define the automation test strategy, plan, test cases and test suites for products such as
Touch panels, Thermostats, Commercial Lighting systems, Control Systems, Unified communication, and Network Streaming devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation tests to ensure sufficient test coverage.
- Design scripts, and/or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness
- Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on their compliance with automation best practices
- Functional, Integration, Regression, Load & Scalability Testing
- Thorough understanding of test processes and test methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality software to production within tight schedules
- Ability to adjust to rapidly changing requirements and timelines
- Ability to operate with minimal oversight while still delivering work on time
- Track record of completing assignments on time with a high degree of quality
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or MCA. Master's Degree in Engineering/M.Tech preferred.
- 6 to 8 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
- Solid programming expertise in Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium/Appium for Web, Android, iOS, and Desktop automation.
- Experience in designing and enhancing automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Web APIs/Web Services testing.
- Experience with Git/SVN and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
