Social Media Manager – Content, Reels & Brand Growth

Prep Right is looking for a creative, experienced and highly hands-on Social Media Manager who can take ownership of our digital presence and help build a robust, premium and recognisable brand.

We are looking for someone who doesn’t just post on social media, but understands what makes people stop, watch, engage and take action.

What You’ll Do

- Plan and execute the monthly social media content strategy
- Create and manage Instagram Reels, Stories, carousels and posts
- Shoot and edit high-quality short-form videos and Reels
- Turn raw classroom, event and founder footage into engaging content
- Identify strong hooks, trends, formats and storytelling angles
- Work closely with the founder to create thought-leadership and founder-led content
- Build content around Prep Right’s programs, events, educational philosophy and community
- Understand and work with Instagram algorithms, reach, retention, engagement and discoverability
- Track performance and use insights to improve future content
- Plan content calendars around launches, registrations, events and campaigns
- Maintain a consistent, premium visual identity across the page
- Stay updated with changing social media trends and platform behaviour
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during important classes, workshops and events

Who We’re Looking For

- 3–4+ years of relevant social media experience
- Excellent video editing and Reel creation skills are essential




- Robust understanding of Instagram and short-form content
- Good sense of aesthetics, typography, pacing, music and visual storytelling
- Understands hooks, watch time, retention, CTAs and content performance
- Can differentiate between content that builds brand, authority, community and conversions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and full of ideas — we don’t want someone waiting to be told what to post every day
- Comfortable working with children/family/education-oriented content
- Able to understand the voice of the founder and translate it into robust digital content

Most importantly… We’re looking for someone who understands that good social media isn’t about posting more — it’s about telling better stories.

Prep Right has a large bank of classroom experiences, children’s programs, founder insights, events and educational content. We need someone who can see a simple moment and recognise the story, Reel or campaign hidden inside it.

Experience

Minimum: 3–4 years in social media/content creation
