Role Summary The Site Reliability Engineer is primarily focused on Operational support by embedding DevOps / Reliability Engineering processes in Global Azure and GCP infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is well rounded in Azure and GCP IaaS and PaaS offerings and will form part of the team that owns the Azure Operational stack for One Platform.
You will work with other teams and vendors to enhance and improve our Operations environment. You must have a strong background in automation with PowerShell. Agile experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support with technical teams and outsourced providers.
Review and approve Request and Change Management.
Handle Service Request Tasks and Problem Management.
Attend internal and vendor meetings for Problem, Incident, and Change management.
Work on automation efforts within One Platform.
What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5+ years of recent experience building and supporting IaaS and PaaS solutions in an Azure cloud environment; GCP is also desirable.
Strong Azure IaaS and PaaS knowledge (should possess at least AZ-104 or AZ- 204 certification or equivalent knowledge).
Solid troubleshooting experience.
Awareness of Change Management governance.
Solid understanding of Windows and Linux (Redhat/Debian) OS.
Strong scripting capability in PowerShell and/or Python.
