Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer based in Tiruchendur.

The Site Civil

Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction and repair activities, ensuring proper execution of waterproofing and structural rehabilitation works in line with design specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting civil engineering drawings, coordinating with contractors and site teams, monitoring quality and progress, and addressing on-site technical issues. The role also involves planning work schedules, managing materials and resources, preparing site reports,



and supporting stormwater and drainage solutions where needed. The engineer will collaborate closely with project managers and technical specialists to deliver durable, cost-effective building repair solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications.
- Candidates should possess practical experience as Civil Engineers, including on-site supervision and coordination of construction or repair projects.
- Candidates should possess abilities in Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking for site activities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related infrastructure design and maintenance.
- Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, familiarity with waterproofing and building repair techniques, understanding of local building codes and safety regulations, proficiency in basic engineering software and MS Office, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
