Position Overview

Looking for a highly skilled Senior Siebel Administrator with 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in managing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing complex, Enterprise Oracle Siebel CRM systems. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in Siebel architecture (including modern IP16 and above Application Interface and Gateway Clustering), database operations, deployment automation, and production support across multi-tier environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Architecture, Installation & Administration

- Installation & Upgrades: Lead the end-to-end installation, configuration, patch application, and version upgrades (including IP16 & above and continuous delivery updates) on Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
- Gateway & Web Server Management: Configure and manage Siebel Gateway Security Hardening, Gateway Clustering, Web Servers (OHS/Apache), and Application Interface (AI) load balancing.
- System Health & Maintenance: Manage Siebel Enterprise Servers, Component Groups, and Application Object Managers (AOM). Monitor server status, manage parameter configurations, and execute workplace recycling.
- Security & Access Control: Administer user access, positions, responsibilities, views, SSO/SAML integrations, and LDAP/Active Directory user authentication.

2. Environment Deployments & Release Management

- Migration & Deployment:



Execute DEV2PROD repository migrations, incremental schema changes, and migration of non-repository objects using Application Deployment Manager (ADM).
- Workspace Management: Oversee Siebel Workspaces, SRF compilation (if legacy), runtime repository (RR) deployments, and deployment factory pipelines.
- Batch Processing: Manage and schedule Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM) processes, batch components, and background assignment rules.

3. Performance Tuning, Monitoring & Troubleshooting

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex component crashes, server hangs, EAI integration failures, and memory leaks using FDR (Flight Data Recorder) analysis and log levels.
- Performance Optimization: Perform end-to-end performance tuning across Siebel Object Managers, web servers, database connections, and SQL queries in coordination with DBAs.
- High Availability & DR: Set up, maintain, and test Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and High Availability (HA) configurations.

4. Integration & Middleware Administration

- Oversee Siebel EAI components, web services (REST/SOAP), inbound/outbound queues, and integration points with middleware (e.g., Kong API Gateway, WebLogic, Kafka, or enterprise ESBs).
- Administer reporting and analytics integration (OBIEE/BIP/OAS) embedded within Siebel applications.
