Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SPM Maintenance & Assembly Technician to assemble, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). The candidate should have knowledge of mechanical assembly, machine maintenance, and industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble SPM machines as per engineering and assembly drawings.
Install mechanical components such as linear guides, bearings, ball screws, gearboxes, motors, cylinders, and conveyors.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of SPM machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
Replace defective machine parts and ensure smooth machine operation.
Support machine installation, testing, and commissioning at customer sites.
Maintain maintenance records and machine service reports.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work workplace.
Coordinate with Design, Electrical,



and PLC teams during machine assembly and maintenance.

Required Skills
Knowledge of mechanical assembly and machine maintenance.
Ability to read assembly drawings and mechanical layouts.
Knowledge of pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and power transmission.
Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools.
Basic understanding of electrical control panels and sensors is an advantage.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Teamwork and effective communication.

Qualification
ITI (Fitter/Mechanic), Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Experience
0–5 years of experience in SPM Assembly, Machine Maintenance, Industrial Automation, or Manufacturing.
Freshers with relevant technical knowledge are also welcome to apply.
