Job Summary

The Montessori Teacher is responsible for creating a child-centered, engaging, and prepared learning setting that promotes independence, curiosity, creativity, and holistic development. The teacher follows Montessori principles to support each child's academic, emotional, social, and physical growth while fostering a lifelong love for learning.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Montessori lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and philosophy.
Prepare and maintain an organized, secure, and stimulating Montessori classroom.
Observe each child's progress and adapt learning experiences to meet individual developmental needs.
Encourage independence, self-discipline, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Facilitate hands-on learning using Montessori materials and practical life activities.
Assess children's academic, social, and emotional development and maintain accurate records.




Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Promote positive behavior and create an inclusive, respectful classroom setting.
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance student learning.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and parent engagement activities.
Maintain classroom resources and ensure Montessori materials are clean, complete, and well organized.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
Montessori Teacher Training/Certification (AMI, AMS, or any recognized Montessori certification) preferred.
2–5 years of teaching experience in a Montessori or Early Years setting.
Excellent spoken and written English.
