Production Planning & Control
Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer requirements.
Coordinate with PPC for production planning and dispatch priorities.
Monitor production output and optimize machine utilization.
Minimize production delays and downtime.
Aluminium Die Casting Operations
Manage High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC), Gravity Die Casting (GDC), and Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) operations (as applicable).
Ensure correct machine setup and process parameters.
Monitor molten metal handling and furnace operations.
Supervise die changeover activities and reduce setup time.
Ensure proper alloy selection and metal quality.
Process Improvement
Improve productivity through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.
Reduce cycle time and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Implement process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor rejection trends and implement corrective actions.
Quality Management




Ensure production complies with customer specifications.
Work closely with the Quality Department to reduce defects.
Drive Zero Defect and Right First Time initiatives.
Monitor scrap, rework, and rejection rates.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, and CAPA activities.
Manpower Management
Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
Monitor attendance, shift planning, and overtime.
Conduct operator training and skill development.
Evaluate operator performance and productivity.
Maintain discipline and motivation on the shop floor.
Equipment & Maintenance Coordination
Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with the Maintenance Department.
Ensure machine availability and minimize downtime.
Monitor die maintenance schedules.
Ensure proper lubrication and TPM activities.
Safety & Setting
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
