About the Role

Unique Chemical Industries is looking for a proactive
Procurement Coordinator
to manage purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure the timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities
Source raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and chemical items.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
Raise Purchase Orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify current vendors.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts for smooth procurement operations.
Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
Maintain procurement records and prepare periodic MIS reports.




Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing company.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.

Preferred Industry Experience:
Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Paints & Coatings, Adhesives, Polymers, Resins, Packaging, or Manufacturing.
