Position Overview

The Principal Architect is the Design and Technical Head of Ark Spaces, responsible for leading the firm's architectural vision, design excellence, technical compliance, and project delivery across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Hospitality projects. The role ensures every project reflects Ark Spaces' philosophy of delivering premium, functional, and buildable spaces while maintaining profitability, quality, and client satisfaction. The Principal Architect also mentors the design team, establishes design standards, and works closely with the Studio Director, Execution Team, and Managing Director to deliver turnkey projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs.
Ensure every project aligns with Ark Spaces' design philosophy and quality standards.
Approve all architectural concepts before client presentation.
Guide creative, sustainable, and practical design solutions.
Develop signature design standards for the firm.
Project Design Management




Review site conditions and feasibility before design commencement.
Lead schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
Coordinate with Interior Designers, Structural Engineers, MEP Consultants, and Landscape Consultants.
Ensure seamless integration between architecture, interiors, and execution.
Technical Excellence
Ensure compliance with local building regulations, NBC, CMDA/DTCP requirements, and safety codes.
Review architectural drawings, construction details, and BOQs.
Standardize construction details and material specifications.
Resolve technical issues during execution.
Client Management
Attend high-value client meetings.
Present design concepts and architectural solutions.
Provide qualified design consultation.
Handle complex client concerns and design revisions.
