Job Summary
The Production Senior Engineer – Injection Blow Molding (IBM) is responsible for planning, monitoring, and executing production activities to achieve daily production targets while ensuring product quality, machine efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. The role involves process optimization, troubleshooting, manpower management, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize productivity and minimize downtime and rejection.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations
Plan and execute daily production activities as per the production schedule.
Operate and supervise Injection Blow Molding (IBM) machines for optimum productivity.
Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum downtime and rejection.
Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle time, machine utilization, and production efficiency.
Coordinate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Stores departments for uninterrupted production.
Process Control & Optimization
Set and optimize machine parameters for different products and materials.
Conduct process trials for current molds, products, and raw materials.
Troubleshoot process-related issues affecting quality or productivity.
Reduce cycle time without compromising product quality.
Maintain process documentation and machine setting records.
Quality Assurance
Ensure production conforms to customer specifications and quality standards.
Monitor product dimensions, weight, visual appearance, and critical quality parameters.
Minimize rejection, wastage, and rework through process improvements.
Coordinate with QA/QC for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure first-piece approval and periodic quality inspections.
