Key Responsibilities
Order Processing: Greet guests, take accurate dine-in or takeout orders, and enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system with specific modifiers.
Payment Handling: Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments accurately. Issue receipts and count back correct change.
Till Management: Count the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts to balance sales, and report any discrepancies to management.
Order Coordination: Package takeout orders, verify accuracy, and communicate special requests or dietary restrictions clearly to the kitchen staff.
Customer Service: Answer questions about menu items, promotions, or ingredients, and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized checkout counter and front-of-house area.
