We are looking for a procurement and purchase officer for our construction company.
person must have deep knowledge of construction materials and must have good contacts in raw material supply industry
The responsibilities of a Procurement officer are multifaceted, encompassing various tasks that contribute to the efficiency and success of engineering projects.
Managing the end-to-end procurement process for engineering projects.
Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers for favorable terms.
Collaborating with project managers to understand material requirements.
Ensuring timely delivery of materials and components for project milestones.
Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance and addressing issues as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferably Civil Engineering or B.Tech (civil)
1–3 years of experience in construction purchasing or procurement.
Knowledge of construction materials and supply chain logistics.
Positive negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
