Position Overview This role is responsible for leading the implementation of a progressive, technology-enabled curriculum that transitions students from foundational problem-solving to advanced technological applications. The educator will guide younger students (Grades 4β5) through unplugged, logic-based activities and progressively introduce middle and high school students (Grades 6β10) to coding, robotics hardware, and AI project lifecycles.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Curriculum Delivery & Progression
Execute a progressive curriculum aligned with NEP 2020 and current board frameworks (such as the CBSE 2026β27 CT & AI mandate).
Grades 4β5: Facilitate foundational Computational Thinking (CT) β covering Decomposition, Pattern Recognition, Abstraction, and Algorithmic Thinking β heavily utilizing unplugged activities and game-based learning.
Grades 6β8: Introduce basic Artificial Intelligence domains (Computer Vision, NLP,
Data Science), visual/block-based coding, and introductory robotics.
Grades 9β10: Drive advanced skill development through Python programming, the AI project lifecycle, data literacy, and capstone robotics integration.
Interdisciplinary Integration
Collaborate with Mathematics and Science faculty to embed computational thinking problems into standard academic subjects, ensuring technology is taught as a cross-disciplinary problem-solving tool rather than an isolated subject.
Lab Infrastructure Management
Oversee the composite STEM/Robotics lab, ensuring all hardware (microcontrollers, sensors, robotics kits) and software platforms are maintained, accessible, and updated.
Assessment & Portfolio Development
Transition assessment methods from observation checklists and performance tasks in primary grades to structured practical files, viva preparation, and capstone project portfolios in seco
