Job Purpose

“This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.”Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.
- Drive end-to-end testing activities including Functional, Integration, Regression, System, UAT, and Performance Testing.
- Review business and functional requirements to identify test scope, risks, and quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain Playwright automation scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Write and maintain feature files and step definitions using Cucumber BDD.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke and end-to-end testing.
- Create and manage test cases in Azure DevOps Test Plans.
- Log, track and validate defects using Azure DevOps Boards.
- Generate test execution and defect reports.Required Qualifications and Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance with at least 2 years in a team lead role.




- Strong experience in Test Management, Test Strategy, and Test Planning.
- Hands-on experience in Test Automation using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience with API Testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar ALM/Test Management tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience in automation framework design and implementation.
- Solid defect management, risk assessment, and quality governance skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, CRM, Loan Origination, or Enterprise Applications will be preferred.
