We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our furniture manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order processing, vendor follow-ups, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for production.

Key Responsibilities
Source and develop new vendors for raw materials, hardware, plywood, laminates, veneers, fittings, packaging materials, and other manufacturing requirements.
Maintain relationships with existing vendors and evaluate their performance.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize purchases.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and on time.
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with the production and stores departments regarding material requirements.
Verify inward materials against Purchase Orders and delivery challans.
Coordinate with the stores team for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and inward entries.
Maintain purchase records, vendor database,



quotations, and documentation.
Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, shortages, or quality concerns.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in planning purchases to avoid stock shortages.
Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice verification and vendor payments.

Requirements
Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (experience in furniture or manufacturing industry preferred).
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management software.
Robust negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and internal departments.
Positive organizational and documentation skills.
