We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Staff member to join our multi-specialty hospital pharmacy team on a 6-month contractual basis. The candidate will support the protected dispensing of medications, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards while delivering quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescribed medications accurately under the supervision of the hospital pharmacist.
Verify prescriptions for completeness and ensure correct medication labeling.
Maintain adequate stock levels and monitor inventory, including expiry dates and storage conditions.
Receive, store, and arrange medicines according to established pharmacy protocols.
Assist in medication billing and documentation using the hospital management system.
Provide patients with basic medication instructions as directed by the pharmacist.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication availability.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the pharmacy.
Follow all hospital infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
Report stock shortages, medication discrepancies, and adverse incidents promptly.
Eligibility
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration.
0–2 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy (freshers may apply if eligible).
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy software is preferred.
