About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AutoCAD drafting and the ability to prepare accurate technical drawings for engineering projects . This role is ideal for both freshers and experienced professionals who are passionate about technical design and drafting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Create detailed fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
Convert design concepts, sketches, and engineering inputs into technical drawings.
Modify and revise drawings based on project requirements.
Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
Coordinate with engineers, production,
and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and engineering specifications.
Support design improvements and process optimization.
Meet project timelines while maintaining high-quality drafting standards.
Required Skills
Solid proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings.
Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and drafting standards.
Basic knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal, machine components, or manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is Preferred (Not Mandatory).
Candidates from other technical backgrounds with excellent AutoCAD drafting skills are also encouraged to apply.
