Position: Captain – Restaurant

Experience: 2–4 Years

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
Welcome and seat guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Assign tables and coordinate with service associates.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and recommend menu items.
Ensure prompt and skilled service throughout the guest's meal.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely order delivery.
Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints effectively.
Train, motivate, and supervise restaurant service staff.
Ensure restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and table setup standards.
Monitor stock of service equipment and coordinate replenishment.
Ensure billing accuracy and proper closing of guest checks.
Follow hotel SOPs, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Assist the Restaurant Manager in achieving guest satisfaction and departmental goals.

Skills Required
Excellent communication and guest handling skills.
Solid leadership and team management abilities.




Valuable knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant operations.
Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts.

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.

Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are maintained.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly.
