Role & responsibilities
Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer requirements.
Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Prepare detailed 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
Develop machine layouts, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and part drawings.
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
Perform design calculations for shafts, bearings, gears, belts, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Select standard machine elements such as bearings, motors, gearboxes, couplings, and linear motion systems.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Project teams during manufacturing and assembly.
Maintain engineering change records and document revisions.
